Barry Glick

Dr. Barry J. Glick has gained both national and international recognition as an outstanding professional with his development, implementation, and marketing of some of the most recent and up to date technology used by the public and private sectors. He has worked in his career for over 20 years building and leading scalable, innovative and successful businesses built around the theme of geospatial, image, and textual information products and services. Dr. Glick is currently President and CEO of ObjectFX Corporation. Previously he was Chairman and CEO of Webraska Mobile Technologies, SA; Principal of Carillon Ventures, LLC; Director of Personal Navigation for Navteq Inc.; President and CEO of MapQuest.com, Inc.; and former President of RR Donnelley’s Geographic Systems. Prior to his move into the private sector, Dr. Glick taught at Middlebury College in Middlebury, VT under a Mellon Foundation program for young scholars. Dr. Glick served on the College of Arts and Sciences Dean’s Advisory Council for five years. Dr. Glick has a PhD and BA in Geography from the University at Buffalo and a Master’s Degree in Policy Planning and Regional Analysis from Cornell University.
