Why Give to the Annual Fund?

Gifts to the College of Arts and Sciences Annual Fund supports our students – young men and women who make UB a great university today and will make the world a better place tomorrow. Their promise is amazing. And your gifts help to let these students discover it.

Your annual gift helps us provide an excellent education to bright, ambitious students, many of whom would not otherwise be able to afford such an opportunity.

And Annual Fund support assists UB in its drive to realize the promise of UB 2020.

This year only 20 percent of UB's budget will come from New York State. Consequently, there remains a funding shortfall that poses a challenge to UB --its current students, faculty, and programs, and to its future vision--UB 2020.
Every gift is important. When you contribute to the Annual Fund you are making a real, a positive, and an important difference that will reach others and change lives. And you can be certain that you have invested in a worthy endeavor, the education of future generations.
